Tools to getting your work seen in the LA Market In this three hour intensive workshop moderated by Actor/Writer/Producer Christian Meoli , we'll highlight the do's and don't's of producing and marketing creative works in Los Angeles. Be they full length plays, one-acts, solo works, poetry, dance, music events, etc.

Workshop will highlight such topics as: How to get your event accomplished within periods of time / Producing on a $20,000 budget or $5 budget / How to get people to show up or increase the attendance / Tips on the Los Angeles Theatre Market /Where's the Audience ?/ Secrets to Promotion & Word of Mouth / Budgets / Developing New Works / Find me the money!! / Tipping Points on runs of a show / Theatre Proposals / Backdoors to Producing

NOTE: This is not a FIlm and TV industry workshop, this is specifically LA Live Arts Market Those attending will receive a sample theatre proposal, a FREE DVD plus one hour of personal phone consultation with Christian Meoli.

In 2005, through CABARET VOLTAIRE, Meoli produced 15 shows/events in venues downtown, eastside and westside in LA. In 2003 he wrote and produced the play "The Dadaists " at The MET Theatre (budgeted at $20,000) and began producing Cabaret Voltaire , a multi-disciplinary performance event regularly at The Steve Allen Theater in Los Feliz (completely out of his pocket). With CABARET VOLTAIRE, Meoli has produced over sixty theatrical events in 3 years plus the documentary- concert film "Beats For Baghdad". He has had new plays developed at Stella Adler, The Ark Theatre Co., Elephant Stageworks and The MET Theatre.
