It's Been A While
It's been a while since I stopped by at this blog to make a lengthy post. I have had many projects in the works while at the same time writing, designing, painting and marketing. Usually I've just posted quick updates and went on my way.
This is my oldest blog, so I decided to write a full update of my whirlwind of activities over the last several months.
I had a cute little article marketing site that I was running, then I expanded the services I was delivering to my clients but the website didn't show anything but the article marketing! So, I did two survey's to find out how to present the site and services. I did one design, but wasn't happy with it, so I wasn't promoting it. Then I found out how I could expand the services that I was delivering to be of higher quality and lower price. Getting inspired because I was able to deliver better services, I re-designed the marketing site. It's called Natural Growth Marketing because of being able to create a natural growth for the companies that use the service (building a long lasting foundation) and also because of being able to create a natural growth of backlinks to a website.
I have started a radio show at Help 2 Succeed! It's a talk radio show where Sharon Beth interviews successful people to find out their successful actions and tips to achieve success. We have had some incredible and unique guests on the show. You can listen to the past episodes by going to the Help 2 Succeed Blog - the shows are listed there as well as the media player. Enjoy!
I started a personal blog recently because I have a huge amount of websites, none of which speak about me personally, what the story is behind my creations, my achievements or my inspiration. It's called "Personal Blog of the Life and Times of Leigh-Ann Lemire aka ILIA." I've been adding such posts as the origin of my pen name "ILIA," tips on where to get brushes for Adobe, some samples of my recent graphic illustrations, the stories behind my recent poetry and lots more.
I've been writing a lot of poetry recently - I have been inspired by the song birds that live in the trees in my neighborhood, other birds such as an egret and by my wonderful furry companions, my cats. Read the > recent poems. Both Opie Taylor (red head fuzzy cat) and Shielynn (Savannah) have made it into a poem recently. Max A Million (out oldest cat - he's 11 1/2 years old, weighs close to 30lbs and talks) has been published in a book titled Cat Chat!
Help 2 Succeed has been a "create" project of mine for over twelve years. I consider it a work of art because my intention when I create any artwork is to Inspire Others to Create. The system that I have built for Help 2 Succeed encompasses many websites and the final one went live online yesterday! It was such a win for me to be able to make the last site in the system available for artists in all fields, everywhere.
The newest site is I AM! direct. It is an innovative artist agent, representation and management service unlike any other offered whether online or off. It is intended to help creative and talented folks to make the leap from having friends and family urging the artist along to being able to be represented. The leap is done with the system that I have been laying down for many years that starts with Help 2 Succeed and now goes to marketing at Natural Growth Marketing and then to I AM! direct. I'm coming down the runway on two more books - the first is an original modern day fairy tale titled Bing Singer and the second book is a fantasy book titled Kya's Story which is the first in a series of stories called Ladies of the Orb. When you go to the link for Bing Singer, you will be able to read a sneak peek of the story - I had a lot of fun writing it. The Ladies of the Orb site also gives sneak peeks but doesn't ever let the cat out of the bag about what the story is about as it is very unique.
Right now, I am also mid painting the piece that will be the cover of Kya's Story and completing the graphics for Bing Singer.
Well, there you go! As you can see, I really did mean that it's been a whirlwind around here! 8)
